Micro Tissue Engineering & Nanomedicine
(M-TEN) Lab since 2017
Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNIST

Welcome to the
Tae-Eun Park's Lab Website!

THE M-TEN LAB DEVELOPS HUMAN ORGAN MIMETIC SYSTEM AS NEW TOOLS FOR DRUG DISCOVERY. WE ARE PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN EMULATING HUMAN SPECIFIC PATHOPHYSIOLOGIES TO IDENTIFY NEW DRUG TARGETS

What we do

Our mission

Human body is the most complex organic system in nature. To understand its integrated physiological functions, it is important to recapitulate multi-cellular interactions in tissue and map networks of dynamical organ system in vitro.

We are developing ORGAN-ON-A-CHIP using multiple cell types and ORGANOID system as miniature organs to emulate human organs in different physiological states. For precision medicine, we create personalized organ model using STEM CELL SOURCE. Through human in vivo-like organ model, we develop new approach to SCREEN DRUG and TARGETED DRUG DELIVERY, and TEST DRUG and observe reactions in real time.

The Micro Tissue Engineering & Nanomedicine (m-TEN) Lab was founded on October in 2017 by Dr. Tae-Eun Park, and is located in Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST).

m-TEN is a interdisciplinary research lab that encourages the mixing and matching of seemingly disparate research areas.
