Postdoc position

 Postdocs in the mTEN lab will receive training and experience in the cutting-edge and fast-developing field of organ on a chip and organoid as part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research team. We are a diverse and inclusive group who cares deeply about our trainees and we make their success our top priority. We expect our new member will bring a creative and innovative thinking to our team.

​[Main projects]

  • Development of organoids using PSCs and patient-derived tissue for drug development

  • Development of drug delivery system using blood-brain barrier on a chip

  • Development of cell-based model of mucosal immune system

  • Development of device/sensor for organ chip

​[Required qualification]

  • Ph.D. in Engineering (e.g., Biomedical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Mechanical),  Biology

  • Strong publication record in stem cells, biomaterials, nanomedicine, drug delivery, or related disciplines

  • Applicants must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to organize material for seminars, journal publications, and grant

[Salary]

   3-4 million won per month (3000-4000 dollars per month) *negotiable

MS/ PhD/ MS-PhD position

  • Graduate program in Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at UNIST is a hand-on learning experience that integrates world-class research and advanced coursework at the cutting edge of biomedical engineering. ​

  • Tuition fee waver; KRW 7,680,000/year

  • Stipend for M.S. student: minimum 1.0 million won per month

  • Stipend for Ph.D. student: minimum 1.3 million won per month
