We aim to build the "PERSONALIZED mini-ORGAN" for "SUCCESSFUL DRUG DISCOVERY" dreaming of a world without animal test. For, we use the multidisciplinary approaches including stem cell engineering, tissue engineering, nano-technology and bio-MEMS.  Please check below and explore our research projects!   

ORGAN-ON-A CHIP

is a multi-channel 3-D microfluidic cell culture chip that simulates the activities, mechanics and physiological response of entire organs and organ systems.

We are focusing on developing human blood-brain barrier chip and stomach-on-a-chip

HUMAN ORGANOID

is a microscopic self-organizing, three-dimensional structure that is grown from stem cells in vitro.

We collaborate with the best hospitals to develop patient-derived organoid recapitulating the complex tumor micro-environment. We are also interested in building iPSC-derived vascularized kidney and chol.

DRUG DISCOVERY

for personalized medicine will revolutionize the patient care. Based on our personalized mini-organs we are developing HTS platforms for testing and discovering the personalized drugs.

DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM

is engineered technology for the targeted delivery and/or controlled release of therapeutic agents. Using the personalized mini-organ as plaform, we screen and develop the robust drug delivery system.
